RA’S PHOTO PAGE
As promised in my post Focus and Synchronicity I have uploaded some photos of my new ‘baby’ Ra “Kismet” Gill.
His name Ra is that of the Egyptian Sun God and Kismet, that was his Shelter Name and yes, we were meant to be together. He really is a little ray of sunshine. And I am sure you will all agree, very handsome and just so cute:-).
Oh yes, he’s writing his Chronicles, he’s one smart lad, which will be finished when he’s finished them! You cannot rush a genius now can you:-)?
He came from the Moorook Animal Shelter No Kill - Do take a look there are so many beautiful dogs and cats, just like Ra needing loving forever homes. In fact, Ra’s Mom and sister are there, just waiting for you to adopt them! And his friend Grizzly, don’t be put off by the big boys - Ra will be a big boy when he grows into his paws. They have a LOT OF LOVE TO GIVE ! And are GENTLE GIANTS, they know their strength and do not have to prove anything!
Hi World Ra “Kismet” Gill here! I’m around three months old, a Belgian Shepherd X. Mom and neighbors suspect my other part could well be a Burmese Mountain Dog - just take a look at my HUGE paws! I’m very loving, intelligent and can already sit, drop and stay (well provided the cats don’t hove into view).
Yes I live with THREE cats! They’re all training me with Mom’s help to be a very good companion:-).
Chilling Out with my Big Bro Zeus! He’s a Blue Heeler and my HERO! I’m his little shadow:-). He’s so smart, he helps me with my lessons and WOL Mom says not to teach me how to pinch the cat food!
He’s got some strict rules, one is don’t mess with the big boys food! Another, don’t bite my testicles (Mom agrees with him on that one). And hey kid don’t chew my tail, I like it the length it is already! He’s great fun, thinks HE is a pup again!
Piggy Back Ride Zeus? Hey, come on let’s play! O.K. I’m not THAT heavy - yet! Oh go on, let me have a piggy back ride! Please, I’ll be EVER so good! Promise! Oh well, Mom’s photo is a bit blurry but hey, it’s hard to switch that quickly to ‘action photo’ when I’m in play mode! Anyone want to give a little puppy a piggy back ride? I just KNOW it will be grand! Hey come on Zeus *sigh* you’re not that old! Oh well there’s always Dad’s socks!
Ah!Found them! Dad’s socks and WHOOPS there goes the whole pile! That will teach Dad to NOT leave his clothes within puppy reach! Yes, I know, I’m very intelligent, quick and eager to learn but I do have my puppy moments:-). Yes, I DO have a lot of toys, which Mom says are “Ra’s toys” but I’m creative and like to find some of my own. Mom had to make a mad dive to put the camera out of my reach and rescue Dad’s clothes! Oh that was something to see!
Now I ask you all, wouldn’t you just LOVE to have a little chap like me? NO! Mom wouldn’t part with moi (yes I am learning French too) but there are lots of beautiful dogs, just like me, in Shelters all over the world. They too deserve a loving forever home. So go on, let the love flow. But PLEASE remember, we are NOT DISPOSABLE, we are your friends and companions for LIFE! So, before you make that all important decision to adopt us, PLEASE think about what it all means! Sure, we have our moments, especially if we are puppies. We didn’t come into this world knowing all about toilet training, or with built in etiquette. But with a lot of work (it’s fun really) and love we WILL be your FOREVER BEST FRIEND, COMPANION! Plus, we have so much UNCONDITIONAL LOVE to give!
We never criticize you at all - not even when you have a ‘bad hair’ day. Nope, we don’t care at all. We just want to be loved, hugged, fed and watered. And wow, we are absolutely great ice-breakers when we go on our walks! Mom says I’m an Angel to walk, I can almost do the strict formal heel! Well, I just LOVE going for long walks and hee hee already have a little girlfriend. She’s a more mature black miniature poodle but Mom says she’s a Cougar! Funny things these humans think at times! Oh well, I don’t care, she’s beautiful and my girlfriend! Though oh ah, Sally (a rescue dog) also looks very cute - another Cougar says Mom! Maybe I’m a playboy? But seriously everyone, my heart belongs to Mom!
Just always remember in this disposable society, we ARE NOT DISPOSABLE we are animals just like you! Yes, you’re all animals too!
